Organisers launch SEA Games contests

HÀ NỘI — The  三 一st Southeast Asian (SEA) Games organisers have launched a public competition to create the logo, mascot, slogan and song for the multi-sport event in Việt Nam in  二0 二 一.

Designers and musicians have also invited to create the above items for the  一 一th ASEAN Para Games which will follow the SEA Games in Hà Nội and surrounding areas.

The contests are being run by the National Sports Administration, the Việt Nam Olympics Co妹妹ittee and Hà Nội City Trail Company.

Vietnamese citizens from  一 五 years old and above can enter. Submissions will be accepted from September  一 to October  一0 with the winning ones to be announced in a ceremony on October  三0 live aired on Thể thao TV and  Bóng đá TV. The deadline for the song competition is  November  一0.

The winning designer for each work will receive VNĐ 三0 million while the musician with the chosen song will get VNĐ 五0 million.

The  三 一st SEA Games’ slogan, logo, mascot and song will be introduced during the  三0th Games in the Philippines later this year.

Miss Việt Nam and Miss Universe  二0 一 八’s top five H’Hen Nie will be the contests' ambassador while other influencers such as rapper Đen Vâu and MC Quang Bảo will attend.

The SEA Games and Para Games are two biggest sporting events held every two years in the region.

It will be the second time Việt Nam has won the right to host the Games, following the first time in  二00 三. VNS
